Stephan Schlemper, Cypress/Spruce, Model Ebanista/Avalancha 2008
Stephan Schlemper is a German guitar builder who made a name for himself above all thanks to his sound and microphone systems, which are very clever. But the fact that he can really hold his own as guitar builder is demonstrated clearly with this flamenco guitar. It has very rich overtones and even has a few shared features with guitars from Granada such as those by Antonio Marín. The sound is loud and the trebles are clear. The sound is not sharp, but instead rather warm and sweet with slight emphasis on the mid-range. Responds very quickly. Nice finish and pleasant appearance make it all in all into a pro instrument at the top of the range. This instrument is well suited for whoever does not only want to play flamenco.
The instrument is in very good condition except for a few nail traces on the soundboard. The guitar has a built-in Schlemper microphone. The jack in the back on the side is closed using a wooden button.
