Ricardo Sanchis Carpio learned guitar building from this grandfather, because his father died young. He learned his craft during one of the most important eras, the 50s, and had contact to many famous guitar builders from Madrid. His sons David and German took over the company a few years ago. Both already learned the craft when they were very young working their way up from the bottom under the guidance of their father. The father is still in the workshop every day, works on his own guitars and supports his sons in their work. I consider his workshop the best flamenco guitar factory in Spain.
